The geography, climate and soil of the Northern Sierra Foothills combine to create deliciously complex, award-winning wines. Nevada County is rapidly becoming known for its quality, estate grown vineyards and complex, distinctive wines. Over fourteen boutique style wineries and tasting rooms dot the streets of Grass Valley and Nevada City as well as the beautiful country roads of Nevada County.
The Northern Sierra wineries offer a diverse selection of over 45 varietals from Syrahs, Cabernet Sauvignons, Zindfandel, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Merlot and many more.
