The primary aim of the ERC is to help individual businesses in the area prosper. The broad scope of services provided by the ERC focus on the retention and expansion of existing industries, attraction of new industry, and creation of new business in the area. The ERC is a nexus for demographic and economic information, financial resources, labor training, government advocacy, and other business resources. The ERC’s website offers an extensive repository of business, industry and community resources. The Nevada County Economic Resource Council developed the Business Resource Guide in partnership with WorkForce Connection as a resource guide for new, existing and potential business owners.
