Our Community > Downtown Association Grass Valley Downtown Association (GVDA) is a non-profit membership based organization headed by Executive Director, Howard Levine, a multi-generational resident of Grass Valley. GVDA represents business and property owners working to enhance the vitality and livability of downtown Grass Valley.

• Advocate for ongoing improvements to downtown's cleanliness, security, aesthetics and delivery of services. • Enhance the image of downtown and attract new visitors through year-round marketing, public relations, and special events. • Facilitate the development of parking, housing & retail. • Provide assistance to downtown business and property owners on day-to-day concerns, working to cut "red tape" and find new solutions. • Build coalitions among downtown's work force, residents, property owners, civic organizations and local government.
