The Grass Valley/Nevada County Chamber of Commerce gives your business access to Publicity and Exposure for your business, Networking Opportunities, Leadership Opportunities, Web Site Presence, Business Referrals, Business Advocacy, just to name a few.
Developing Local Business Contacts
The Chamber receives thousands of requests each year for business referrals ranging from lodging and dining to contractors, retail stores, economic development information, business assistance, real estate agents, relocation of a business, doctors, dentists and much more. The Chamber refers "first and foremost" Chamber Members.
The Chamber hosts many events throughout the year. The Chamber sponsors an annual Employment Law Seminar. The Chamber's Annual Christmas Breakfast is always a huge success, as is the Chamber's Annual Installation Dinner.
Chamber Mixers are a perfect venue for providing 'business to business' networking opportunities that are an opportunity to establish new relationships and business contacts. Chamber Members host an open house in their business, inviting attendees to a first-hand view of their business, their products and services.

Publicity & Exposure for Your Business
New Chamber Members are listed in the monthly Chamber Newsletter "Business To Business." Chamber Members can put their business cards and/or brochures in the Chamber Display area where thousands of people pass through each year. The Annual Chamber Directory of Members and Official Buyers Guide list Chamber Members twice, once by alphabet and once by your category. Members can have quarterly press releases published in the Chamber monthly Newspaper "Business To Business," along with a photo. Chamber Members can have a Ribbon Cutting with their photo published in the Newspaper "Business To Business." All of these are a benefit of your membership!
Members receive free listings in our Membership Directory.
Our newsletter lists your business upon joining. Member promotion, including, announcing new products, services and advancements in the Members at Work section is also provided at no additional charge to our members. The monthly newspaper is distributed widely throughout the county to our local "The Union Newspaper" subscribers, over 16,000 homes.
Referrals
The Chamber receives thousands of requests each year for recommendations on goods and services purchased in the area. We refer Chamber Members to new comers, visitors to our area, and residents of our community.
Promotion on Our Chamber Website
The Chamber Website includes a listing of our entire membership. Individuals searching our Business Directory online will easily find you and your business. If you already have a web site, the Chamber provides you a direct link from your Member Listing to your web site. Your company has the opportunity as a member to include a 25 word description of your business to be linked to a dynamic search engine on the business directory page.
Direct Mail Promotion
The Chamber's mailing labels are available for purchase and give you direct access to a prime audience of business prospects. Free membership lists are available on disk or in hard copy. These are Member Only opportunities.
Advertising Opportunities
Send your message to the entire business community through our Chamber Newspaper "Business To Business." Our Newspaper is inserted each month into our local Newspaper "The Union" with a circulation of over 16,000 and it is also mailed to the entire membership. Our Annual Directory of Members and Official Buyers Guide also goes out to over 16,000 businesses and homes. Members can insert their flyer in a monthly Chamber Mailing. There is a fee for this service.
Members enjoy free Ribbon Cuttings and assistance from our Chamber Ambassadors at Grand Openings, Ribbon Cuttings and other events.
Credibility
What's the easiest thing you can do to establish credibility with a customer? Your Chamber of Commerce Plaque on display at your business and the Chamber Logo on your website tell visitors you mean business and care about the community.
Seminars and Workshops
During the year the Chamber of Commerce presents or co-sponsors seminars and workshops on a wide variety of topics of interest to business people in our town, many offered at little or no cost. Watch the Chamber's monthly Newsletter "Business To Business" for date, times and specific information.
