Chamber Mission StatementTo represent and provide the business community with leadership and resources in order to enhance the quality of and the economic health of our community.
For over 100 years, the Chamber of Commerce has historically provided local businesses with an added measure of security by hosting opportunities for sharing business advice, political representation and customer introductions. Our office is located at 248 Mill St. in the completely renovated historic Lola Montez House. The visitors center hours are 9-5 Monday thru Friday and 10-3 on Saturdays. What is the Chamber of Commerce?The Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary association for business people to work together to provide a good business climate, improve the community, provide information and resources, promote western Nevada County as a tourist destination, create opportunities for business involvement and continue to foster a healthy business atmosphere for businesses to grow and expand. Who Governs the Chamber of Commerce?The Chamber is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors, elected by the membership, which sets the policy and programs to best serve the Chamber membership.
