The Grass Valley/Nevada County Chamber is happy to provide you with a Visitor Information package for visitors to Grass Valley and Nevada County.  The package contains brochures about historic sites, recreation, arts and entertainment, lodging, dining and events.  You will also receive maps of the area and information about things to see and do while visiting Western Nevada County.

Our area is the heart of the historic California Gold Country.   Grass Valley, Nevada City and other communities have beautifully preserved the historic flavor from the Gold Rush days.  Visit gold mines, homes of mining entrepreneurs, foundries, railroad museums and other mining museums.  We are home to a vibrant arts and theatre community.  Visit galleries and attend delightful theater performances.  Located in the beautiful Sierra Foothills, hiking, boating, horseback riding and much more are at your doorstep.  Local farmers, ranches and vineyards provide organic and locally grown fruits, vegetables, meats, wines and more!  Visit one of our many farmers markets for a delicious flavor of our community.  The package provides highlights of these treats and more!

Visitor information packages are mailed free of charge.  Relocation packages are mailed for $4.95 postage charge.  To request a package call us at (530) 273-4667 or request by email.

If you are considering moving to our area and would like a relocation package please call and we will send you a package including real estate and additional information.  You may also drop by our Visitor Center in the historic Lola Montez home at 248 Mill Street in Grass Valley.  We look forward to seeing you!
