35th Annual California Preservation Foundation's Conference place in Nevada City and Grass Valley May 12 through May 15, 2010

We are currently organizing volunteers for the 35th Annual California Preservation Foundation's (CPF) Conference taking place in Nevada City and Grass Valley May 12 through May 15, 2010.

Volunteer Registration Form:  All volunteers must submit a completed 2010 CPF Volunteer Registration Form

As a volunteer you have the opportunity to attend Conference Educational Sessions and the Plenary Session free of charge. In addition, volunteers will be invited to a Thank You Event which will take place sometime after the Conference.

Volunteers are needed in many different capacities. There are jobs at the registration desk, Exhibitor Hall, Silent Auction, Educational Sessions, Tours and Mobile Workshops and at Special Events. Help with set-up and breakdown of the Conference volunteers who can provide IT or technical services are also in high demand. There are several shifts that need to be filled and a detailed listing will be sent out at a later date.

Requirements are attend an orientation session, fill out the application form, which can be emailed to you, downloaded from the Chamber Website www.grassvalleychamber.com or picked up at the Chamber. We will have the dates of orientation sessions within the next week. Volunteers must be punctual and responsible (and call if you are late or cannot make your scheduled time to volunteer) dress appropriately (please no flip flops, ripped jeans, etc.), use your best judgment and dress comfortably. Perform duties to the best of your ability, seek staff assistance when needed, be kind and respectful to all attendees, become familiar with the conference infrastructure, schedule and venues.
