What is an Ambassador?

The Ambassadors are a group of business leaders committed to helping the Grass Valley/Nevada County Chamber of Commerce fulfill its mission of representing businesses and providing leadership to enhance the quality of our community.  The Ambassadors are Chamber members who volunteer their time to welcome new Chamber members and support Chamber staff at events.  The Ambassador program is the premier member-to-member, business networking program.

Who can be an Ambassador?

Becoming an Ambassador is privilege open to any Chamber member of the Grass Valley/Nevada County Chamber of Commerce.

Benefits of Becoming an Ambassador

• An effortless way to get to know other members by volunteering for ribbon cuttings, greeting at our business after hours mixers, and other events
• Ambassador business cards are included in all new member information packets sent out to dozens of businesses throughout the year
• Special placement of Ambassador business cards at our Chamber office
• Introduction of Ambassadors at our Chamber events so that others in our community get to know you better
• The chance to use your communication and leadership skills to benefit our community working side-by-side with other like-minded business people
• Increase your possibility of business referrals by being more visible in our community

Ambassadors are committed to our Grass Valley/Nevada County Chamber

• By regulary attending our monthly meetings held on the third Tuesday of the month from 12:00-1:00pm
• By participating in at least 50% of our networking and business promotion events each month including ribbon cuttings, business after hours mixers, and other scheduled functions
• By connecting with existing members and promoting new membership
